Sligo's 1st Pop up shop at Rosses Point Sea Shanty Festival

Been busy making gift monsters in nautical colours especially for Sligo's 1st POP up shop at the Sea Shanty Festival Rosses Point Sligo this week end the 17th to the 19th of June.

A group of keen crafters and Artists have come together to bring the best on offer from the  vast local creative community to Rosses Point for the weekend-Just dropped off some of my products in the little shop located on the waterfront just down from the Waterfront Restaurant. It looks super and will be out there again tomorrow to take some photos of the finished products and add a list of links to the Creators on display in the shop for the weekend .... was too excited talked too much yesterday almost did the same today but got the pics Yah !

 The window display and Art Work adorning the outside wall is a credit to the organisers Medbh Gillard and Olga Mc Carrick and looks good even in the rain always a bonus in Ireland !

 The rain came down while there but me thinks the items look great through the rain mizzled window ....

You can really get into the spirit of the sea shanty with seaweed soap from The Soapbox they truly smell as good as they look and if seaweed soap does not float your boat there are many more scents to choose from

 The wind swept ocean theme played out here in a variety of mediums

 The window diplay is eyecatching and whimsical and all Medbh.  Yes you too may shrink if you try to shift sand while hanging about with large boulders and using a tiny wheelbarrow !

Also Philip Mahon from the Sligo wood company a wood turner of exceptional talent will be displaying work Greta Naylor will be supplying a variety of plants for Sale and last but by no means least Soraya Ricalde Jewlery

So come on over to Rosses point, bring your booty... not the junk in your trunk kind the cash in a flash kind and haul home some treasure  "with love from Rosses Point this weekend" !!
