Ever since viewing a this tutorial on
Freshly Pieced blog been wanting to give it a go but much to my consternation when I pieced all the rays together it became a buckled up mess ... so there was nothing for it but to slash and burn !!! After cutting randomly from the edges still could not get it to sit straight that's when I discovered oops ! forgotten to sew one of the rays in ... a ray short that was the source of my mess. But happy to say that all is now well with the world and it turned out so nice decided to design a little quilt around the block above is the work in progress and happy accidents do happen afterall !
